SEXUAL DYSFUNCTIONS

MALE SEXUAL DYSFUNCTIONS
1. Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
-
Inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse.
2. Premature Ejaculation (PE)
-
Ejaculation that occurs sooner than desired, often within 1 minute of penetration.
3. Delayed Ejaculation
-
Marked delay or inability to ejaculate despite adequate stimulation.
4. Retrograde Ejaculation
-
Semen enters the bladder instead of exiting through the penis during orgasm.
5. Anorgasmia (Inhibited Orgasm)
-
Difficulty or inability to achieve orgasm despite normal sexual arousal.
6. Low Libido (Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder)
-
Decreased interest or desire for sexual activity.
7. Painful Ejaculation
-
Discomfort or pain during or after ejaculation.
8. Peyronie’s Disease
-
Curvature of the penis during erection due to fibrous scar tissue, often causing pain or difficulty with intercourse.
9. Anejaculation
-
Complete absence of ejaculation, can be due to nerve damage or medication.
FEMALE SEXUAL DYSFUNCTIONS
1. Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD)
Persistent lack of sexual desire causing distress.

2. Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD)
Difficulty in becoming or staying physically aroused during sexual activity.
​
3. Female Orgasmic Disorder (Anorgasmia)
Delay, infrequency, or absence of orgasm despite adequate stimulation.
​
4. Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder (GPPPD)
Pain, fear, or tightness during vaginal penetration or attempted penetration.
​
5. Vaginismus
Involuntary tightening of vaginal muscles making penetration painful or impossible.
​
6.Dyspareunia
Recurrent or persistent genital pain during or after intercourse.


SEX RELATED ADDICTIONS
1. Compulsive Sexual Behavior (Hypersexuality)
Excessive preoccupation with sexual urges and acts causing distress or impairment.

2. Pornography Addiction
Uncontrollable consumption of porn affecting relationships and daily functioning.
​
3. Masturbation Addiction
Repetitive self-stimulation leading to physical or emotional problems.
​
4. Love and Relationship Addiction
Obsessive dependence on intimacy or romantic attention for self-worth.
​
5. Erotomania (De Clérambault’s Syndrome)
A false belief that someone, usually of higher status, is in love with you.
PARAPHILIC DISORDERS
1. Exhibitionistic Disorder
Recurrent urges to expose one’s genitals to unsuspecting strangers for sexual arousal.

2. Frotteuristic Disorder
Intense sexual arousal from touching or rubbing against a non-consenting person.
​
3. Voyeuristic Disorder
Sexual arousal from observing an unsuspecting person naked or engaging in sexual activity.
​
4. Sexual Masochism Disorder
Arousal from being humiliated, beaten, bound, or otherwise made to suffer.
​
5. Sexual Sadism Disorder
Arousal from inflicting humiliation, pain, or suffering on another person.
​
6. Pedophilic Disorder
Sexual attraction to prepubescent children (generally age 13 or younger).
​
7. Fetishistic Disorder
Sexual focus on nonliving objects or specific body parts not typically erotic (e.g., feet, arm pit).
​
8. Transvestic Disorder
Sexual arousal from cross-dressing that causes significant distress or impairment.
​
9. Necrophilic Disorder
Sexual attraction to corpses (not included in DSM-5 but often referenced clinically).
​
10. Zoophilic Disorder
Sexual attraction to animals (also not formally in DSM-5).
